Dollar General clearance event 9/22-9/24/23

Dollar General will be having a Clearance event from Friday 9/22/23 to Sunday 9/24/23. REGULAR CLEARANCE ITEMS WILL NOT BE INCLUDED. This will just be certain categories of seasonal clearance. I have included links to visuals from Kristie's Connections where available.

Walgreens apparel clearance

I posted about Walgreens apparel clearance about a month ago, but it is still available in stores! I am still finding them in stores. Online is sold out, but you can still order for curbside pickup, same day delivery, or even just picking it up in the store. Walgreens Clearance Deals July 2023

Walgreens has a lot of sales going on this week with promo codes and clearance. Do you have a MyWalgreens account? They have lots of digital coupons there and that's where your "Walgreens cash" is stored, which are basically rebates for buying specific items. You don't have to use the app, you can do it from a web browser. Check your "coupons" to see if you have one that says you get a certain amount of Walgreens cash with a certain amount of purchase. This is called a "spend booster." Make sure you clip it so it stores to your account!

You can place a pick up order online and they will have it ready for you in the store when you arrive. You can choose to have it brought right out to your car if you like! You can choose to have it delivered from your store to your home in about an hour or so. You can also choose to have an item shipped to your home for a fee or free with a $35 purchase. You can have it shipped to store for free. The great thing about having these options is that availability varies by store and via shipping from the warehouse. When you see an item, it will tell you if it is available at your closest store or if it is available for shipping. If you have multiple stores near you, you can check to see if an item is available at another store near you. This is especially helpful with sale and clearance items.

You can combine coupons with clearance items. I have heard so many Walgreens staff say that you can't, but that is false. If you place the order online, and the coupon is more than the price of the item, the coupon will automatically adjust to the price of the item. If you purchase in store, the coupon will not adjust and it will not let you use that coupon on that item. This is one of the many reasons I prefer placing an order online, but I always go in to at least check out the clearance, and sometimes the online system doesn't have the inventory 100% correct.
